Karol G has opened up for a new Univision Digital documentary called Karol G: La Guerrera del Género (Karol G: The Warrior of the Genre), set to premiere on Univision.com Tuesday, March 19. Billboard has an exclusive preview today (Mar. 8).
The story of Karol G will be unveiled, showing how she broken barriers in a genre that is mainly dominated by men. The digital documentary, led by Leo Suarez (director and writer) and Javier Cruz (producer) follows Karol G on every step of her journey during six months, from traveling to her native Medellín, Colombia to capturing content for her successful nine-city shows in cities such as Miami and Las Vegas.
La Guerrera del Género explores Karol G’s personal and professional ups and downs, and rise as a urban star.
