UniMás Delivers Double-To-Triple Digit Audience Wins Over CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW and Telemundo on Sunday Night Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 6, 2020 to July 12, 2020

  • UniMás reported primetime audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 404,000), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 204,000) and Adults 18-34 (+19% to 81,000). UniMás also delivered double-digit primetime audience growth year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+12%) and Adults 18-34 (+23%). UniMás outperformed The CW by double-digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+34% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+96% adv.), marking the 25th and 30th consecutive week that it has out-delivered The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC (+20% adv.), CBS (+45% adv.), NBC (+5% adv.), FOX (+15% adv.) and Telemundo (+11% adv.) among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“CineNight: Snakes on a Plane” and “CineNight: Wrath of the Titans”). This also marked the ninth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered CBS among Adults 18-34. The movie line-up delivered audience growth to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 514,000), Adults 18-49 (+26% to 236,000) and Adults 18-34 (+85% to 109,000). The line-up also increased the time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+24%), Adults 18-49 (+9%) and Adults 18-34 (+42%).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered CBS (+31% adv.), NBC (+26% adv.), FOX (+72% adv.), The CW (+512% adv.) and Telemundo (+61% adv.) by double-to-triple digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“CineMás: Godzilla” and “CineMás: World War Z”). UniMás also outperformed FOX, The CW and Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49. This marked the second consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has outperformed FOX, The CW and Telemundo among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. This also marked the eighth consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Total Viewers 2+ and the 31st consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 710,000), Adults 18-49 (+25% to 353,000) and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 146,000). The line-up also delivered audience growth year-over-year to the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+18%) and Adults 18-34 (+6%). The 8:30 p.m. airing of “CineMás: World War Z” currently ranks as the highest-rated Sunday night film on the UniMás network since May 2020 among Total Viewers 2+ (785,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+25% to 71,000). The reality series also delivered double-digit audience growth to the time period year-over-year among Adults 18-34 (+29%). “Guerreros” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 (+58% adv.).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period among Adults 18-49 (+28% to 150,000) and Adults 18-34 (+25% to 40,000).
  • UniMás’ 8 p.m. Friday night movie presentation, “Cineplex: No Eres Tu, Soy Yo” delivered double-to-triple digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+83% to 278,000), Adults 18-49 (+179% to 159,000) and Adults 18-34 (+82% to 40,000).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+78% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+180% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+144% adv.) for the entire week.
