UniMás Delivers Double-Digit Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth Across All Key Demos

UniMás Outperforms The CW for Entire Night on Sunday By Double-Digits Among Adults 18-34

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of October 21, 2019 to October 27, 2019

  • UniMás delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+13% to 353,000), Adults 18-49 (+27% to 181,000) and Adults 18-34 (+49% to 91,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 (+51% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: Law Abiding Citizen.” The Sunday night movie-lineup also delivered double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 587,000), Adults 18-49 (+14% to 324,000) and Adults 18-34 (+29% to 170,000) to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” averaged its highest-rated weekly performance since its premiere with week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 405,000). The reality series also attracted more Adults 18-34 (+1% to 89,000) versus the previous week, marking the sixth and fifth consecutive week of audience growth with Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers 2+, respectively.
  • For the second consecutive week, UniMás’ 9 p.m. reality series, “Resistiré” increased its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 211,000) and Adults 18-34 (+5% to 59,000), averaging its highest-rated weekly performance since its premiere.
  • UniMás’ weeknight late prime program, “Apocolipsis” delivered double-digit audience gains among Adults 18-49 (+14% to 66,000) and Adults 18-34 (+67% to 25,000) versus the previous week.
  • Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Dawn of the Dead” and “Cineplex: Deep Blue Sea,” UniMás increased its Saturday 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+22% to 351,000), Adults 18-49 (+86% to 193,000) and Adults 18-34 (+177% to 108,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+29% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+93% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+168% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
