UniMás Increases its Primetime Audience Week-Over-Week by Double-Digit Margins Among All Key Demos

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 16, 2018 to July 22, 2018

Last week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-to-week audience gains during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 342,000), Adults 18-49 (+21% to 171,000) and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 70,000).

UniMás adventure reality competition, “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” – which features contestants battling it out to master the elements: air, earth, fire and water – aired its season 1 finale episode last week in the Monday 7pm-9:30pm block.   • Increased the time-period average by triple-digit margins versus prior four-Monday performance as it drew in 574,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+146%), 273,000 Adults 18-49 (+137%) and 128,000 Adults 18-34 (+156%).
  • Reported audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+76%), Adults 18-49 (+117%) and Adults 18-34 (+228%) versus novela airing in the time period during the comparable day in 2017.

UniMás’ new primetime variety line-up, consisting of “Ay Guey Mon,” “Cineplex Tue,” “Game Time with Yordi Rosado Wed,” “Velvet Thu” and “Erase Una Vez Fri,” airing during the Monday to Friday 10pm to 11pm hour increased the time period week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+27% to 194,000), Adults 18-49 (+42% to 94,000) and Adults 18-34 (+46% to 38,000).

Saturday night’s movie line-up, airing 7pm-11pm, “Cine Cantinflas: El Analfabeto,” and “Cineplex Sat: Let’s Be Cops” increased UniMás’ audience week-to-week by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+119% to 451,000), Adults 18-49 (+206% to 211,000) and Adults 18-34 (+175% to 88,000).

On Sunday night, UniMás increased its Total Viewer 2+ (+42% to 431,000), Adult 18-49 (+78% to 251,000) and Adult 18-34 (+59% to 89,000) audience levels from the prior Sunday performance with a back-to-back movie line-up that included “Cineplex: X-Men: First Class” and “Cine de las Estrellas: Paranoia.”

UniMàs attracted more Adults 18-49 (+39% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+55% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
