The Popular Entertainment News Show Hosted by Jomari Goyso and Lourdes Stephen, “Sal y Pimienta” Returns Immediately Following “Pequeños Gigantes”
WHAT: Univision’s successful Sunday night family-friendly programming will continue its success with the long-awaited return of the popular child talent competition “Pequeños Gigantes” (Little Giants) and the anticipated return of “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper), the popular entertainment news show on March 22, starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT).
Galilea Montijo will host “Pequeños Gigantes” along with an all-star team of judges that includes Biby Gaytán, María Leónand Ariel Miramontes “Albertano.” Juanpa Zurita, famous for being a content creator for digital platforms, generating millions of followers around the world, recently joined the talented panel. The popular show will entertain audiences with more one-on-one challenges, individual competitions and surprises. Giovani, winner of last year’s competition, will report on everything behind-the scenes alongside Antonio Santana, while on stage, more than 34 gifted children from the U.S. and Mexico will showcase their charisma and talents as singers and dancers.
Immediately after “Pequeños Gigantes,” on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT (9:30 p.m. CT), “Sal y Pimienta” will return to Univision with its beloved hosts Jomari Goyso and Lourdes Stephen. The popular entertainment news show will give viewers all details on the competition, interviews and everything that happens on- and off-camera with the judges, the host and the talented kids. In its first edition, the program will feature an exclusive conversation between Lourdes Stephen and Biby Gaytán including her long-awaited TV return, among other topics. In addition, “Sal y Pimienta” will also share late-breaking news from the world of entertainment with fresh, fun, emotion-packed conversations to wrap up family Sunday nights in the best possible way.

Early childhood education campaign “Pequeños y Valiosos” comes back to “Pequeños Gigantes,” empowering Hispanic parents to support their children’s early brain and language development
- In partnership with Too Small to Fail, the early childhood initiative of the Clinton Foundation and The Children’s Trust, “Pequeños y Valiosos” (Young and Valuable) will incorporate content and resources encouraging parents and caregivers to: talk, read, speak and sing with their children from the time they are born; participate in activities that initiate their knowledge of numbers and basic math concepts; understand the importance of bilingualism; and support strong social and emotional ties with their children.
- Each week, the show will share messages of empowerment and conversations with the contestants and their families about the impact of spending time together and participating in language-rich activities from birth on their children’s development. As part of “Pequeños y Valiosos,” viewers are encouraged to text “CONSEJOS” to 26262 to receive bi-weekly texts with ideas, resources and activities that contribute to learning and early childhood development.
