WEEKLY UPDATE ON “MIRA QUIEN BAILA ALL STARS,” UNIVISION’S POPULAR DANCE COMPETITION

WHAT’S NEW:
This Sunday, Sofía Castro, Adrián Lastra and Kiara Liz, the last three contestants vying for the “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” title, will face-off in the show’s epic season finale. The night will open with a number by judges Beau “Casper” Smart and Bianca Marroquín, who will dance and sing to “Cheap Thrills” by SIA along with the finalists and choreographers.
The contestants will then take the floor for the first round of individual performances. Sofía will do an urban dance number, Adrián a quickstep and Kiara a merengue. In the second round, themed “I Can Dance It Better,” the competitors will try to demonstrate why they are the most deserving to win the competition by attempting to improve a dance previously performed by another contestant.
Latin Pop superstar Paulina Rubío will perform a medley of her popular songs “De Qué Sirve,” “Yo No Soy Esa Mujer,” “Lo Haré Por Ti” and “Y Yo Sigo Aquí”. Also performing in the season’s grand finale is Regional Mexican music star Christian Nodal, who will do a medley of “Adiós Amor” and “De los Besos Que Te Dí.” The popular band Los Angeles Azules, alongside this season’s sensational participant Fanny Lu, will perform “Nunca es Suficiente” and “El Listón de tu Pelo”. Lastly, Jose Ron, currently starring in popular Univision primetime hits Ringo and Rubí, will make a special Finale appearance.
“MQB Extra,” a one-hour special hosted by Jomari Goyso and Lourdes Stephen, will air after the season finale. The show will include interviews with the three finalists, where they will talk about the key moments during the competition, the biggest challenges they faced and other highlights. Fans will also hear from the judges and former contestants.
ON LAST SUNDAY’S SHOW:
- In the first round of performances:
- Kiara Liz danced to the rhythm of Maluma’s “Corazón.”
- The party mood was set by Adrián and his performance of the Disco classic “Boogie Shoes.”
- Still injured but unafraid of taking the dance floor, Kimberly Dos Ramos performed to Marc Anthony’s “Ahora Quién.” Former MQB contestant, actor and model Pedro Moreno also participated in her performance.
- The retro act of the night was done by Sofía Castro who danced to Pedro Infante’s “Amorcito Corazón,” interpreted by the actor and singer Omar Chaparro.
- Following the theme of the night, Dance Battles, two teams were formed and Turkish actor Kaan Urgancioglu, the villain of Univision’s hit telenovela Amor Eterno, led a team made up of men, while Rubí co-star, Premio Lo Nuestro 2020 co-host, and beloved Univision personality Alejandra Espinoza led the women’s team.
- Adrián Lastra, joined by Despierta América’s Chef Yisus and Pedro Moreno, turned on the heat with a memorable performance inspired by the movie “Magic Mike.”
- The women’s team danced to “Hey Mama” by David Guetta.
- Based on the audience’s vote and judges’ criteria, Dos Ramos was eliminated from the show.
Mira Quién Baila All Stars” is hosted by Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza, and Amara la Negra is the backstage reporter. Former Miss Universe and winner of MQB’s fifth season Dayanara Torres, creative director and professional dancer Casper Smart, and Mexican actress, professional dancer and singer Bianca Marroquín are this season’s judges. The beloved dancer and star choreographer Toni Costa is the show’s first ever contestant mentor.

Este domingo, Sofía Castro, Adrián Lastra y Kiara Liz, los tres finalistas de “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” se enfrentarán en la gala final de esta temporada. La noche empezará con un número por los miembros del jurado Beau “Casper” Smart y Bianca Marroquín, quienes bailarán y cantarán “Cheap Thrills” de SIA junto con los finalistas y coreógrafos.
Los concursantes tomarán la pista de baile para la primera ronda de presentaciones individuales. Sofía ofrecerá un número de baile de música urbana, Adrián hará el quickstep y Kiara bailará merengue. También se presentarán en la gran final la estrella de música regional mexicana Christian Nodal, con un popurrí de “Adiós Amor” y “De los besos que te di”. La popular banda Los Ángeles Azules, acompañada por Fanny Lu, participante de esta temporada, interpretarán “Nunca es suficiente” y “El listón de tu pelo”. Finalmente, José Ron, actual protagonista de los éxitos del horario estelar de Univision Ringo y Rubí, hará una presentación especial.
“MQB Extra,” conducido por Jomari Goyso y Lourdes Stephen, se trasmitirá después de la final. En el especial de una hora, los finalistas hablarán de los momentos claves en la competencia y los retos que afrontaron. El show también incluirá entrevistas con los jueces y ex competidores.
DURANTE EL PROGRAMA DEL DOMINGO PASADO:
- En la primera ronda de bailes:
- Kiara Liz bailó al ritmo de “Corazón” de Maluma.
- Adrián dio el toque especial a la noche con “Boogie Shoes”, clásica del disco.
- Todavía lesionada pero sin temor a bailar, Kimberly Dos Ramos saltó a la pista con “Ahora Quién” de Marc Anthony. Pedro Moreno, exconcursante de MQB, actor y modelo, también participó en su número.
- El acto retro de la noche fue de Sofía Castro, quien bailó “Amorcito Corazón” de Pedro Infante, interpretado por el actor y cantante Omar Chaparro.
- Siguiendo el tema de la noche, Batallas de Baile, se formaron dos equipos, y el actor turco Kaan Urgancioglu, el villano de la popular telenovela “Amor Eterno” de Univision, encabezó un equipo de hombres, mientras que Alejandra Espinoza, coprotagonista de “Rubí”, copresentadora de Premio Lo Nuestro 2020 y popular personalidad de Univision, estuvo al mando del equipo de mujeres.
- Adrián Lastra se unió al chef Yisus de Despierta América y Pedro Moreno en un baile que subió la temperatura de la pista de baile, inspirado en la memorable película “Magic Mike”.
- El equipo de mujeres bailó “Hey Mama” de David Guetta.
- En base a la votación del público y el criterio del jurado, Dos Ramos quedó eliminada.
Conducen “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” Chiquinquirá Delgado y Javier Poza, y Amara la Negra es la reportera detrás del escenario. Dayanara Torres, ex Miss Universo y ganadora de la quinta temporada de MQB; Casper Smart, director creativo y bailarín profesional; y Bianca Marroquín, actriz, bailarina profesional y cantante mexicana, son los miembros del jurado esta temporada. El popular bailarín y coreógrafo Toni Costa es el primer mentor de concursantes en el programa.
