WHAT’S NEW:
- The competition begins for real as 30 diverse and multitalented women arrive in Miami to vie for the title and become Univision’s next on-air personality.
- Also, NBL will take a surprising turn for the first time in its history that will change the competition.
- Hosts Alejandra Espinoza and Roberto Hernández lead contestants through new challenges and thematic runways, which reflect the show’s emphasis on empowering women and seeking beauty in different forms with the tagline, “No Sizes, No Limits and No Excuses” (sin tallas, sin límites, sin excusas).
- This week’s guest performers will echo the theme as independent and strong women from diverse musical genres coming together onstage for the first time. Colombian urban music sensation Karol G, American banda star Chiquis Rivera and Mexican telenovela star and pop artist Maite Perroni will perform Perroni’s hit “Así Soy” (This Is Me). With its powerful lyrics about tearing down barriers, the song reinforces the program’s central message. The three will be joined onstage by the 30 contestants.
- In addition, the first-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee Karol G will join the finalists on stage for a thematic runway while she performs her recent hits “Mi Cama” and “Pineapple.”
- Judges Giselle Blondet, Denise Bidot, Jomari Goyso and El Dasa will choose the 10 candidates who will continue in the competition and move into the Nuestra Belleza Latina University (NBL-U) house. Audiences will also learn who will be the first two nominees to return home.
- The FIRST GALA of Season 11 of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” will air Sunday, October 7 in its usual timeslot, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. to 9 p.m. CT) on the Univision Network.
ON LAST SUNDAY’S SHOW:
In this unique pre-competition episode, contestant selection wound up in Las Vegas.
Viewers got to meet this year’s extraordinarily diverse lineup which includes:
- Brenda Smith, a young American of Mexican and Panamanian descent who seeks to be a voice for Afro-Latinas
- Carmen Santillán, a former nun who left her order and headed to “Sin City” for the NBL tryouts
- Leslie Oquendo, who spoke of her life as a young Puerto Rican XY woman
- Migbelis Castellanos, who seeks to overcome body-image issues
- Vanessa Romo, a plus-size model who has left self-esteem issues behind
- Connie Peña, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the Diva from the Bronx, Jennifer López

- La verdadera competencia empieza ahora que 30 mujeres distintas y con múltiples talentos llegan a competir por la corona y ser la próxima personalidad en la pantalla de Univision.
- Además, NBL tomará un giro inesperado, por primera vez en su historia, que cambiará la competencia.
- Los conductores Alejandra Espinoza y Roberto Hernández dirigen a las concursantes en nuevos desafíos y pasarelas temáticas que reflejan el énfasis del programa en el empoderamiento de la mujer y buscan la belleza en formas diferentes con el lema “sin tallas, sin límites, sin excusas”.
