City of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings to Join the Family Celebration on August 8th
DALLAS – AUGUST 7, 2018 – Univision Dallas’ KUVN Univision 23, North Texas’ oldest and largest Spanish-language TV station, celebrates 30 years of informing, entertaining and empowering the Dallas-Fort Worth Hispanic community on August 8 with the return of one of their most popular campaigns, Desde Su Comunidad (From the Community).
KUVN Univision 23 kicked off the celebration on July 18, commemorating the milestone alongside its community, inviting viewers to watch live tapings of Noticias 23’s 5 p.m. broadcast and attend meet and greets with Univision personalities every Wednesday in parks throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area through August 8.
On the 30th anniversary day, August 8th, KUVN Univision 23 will host its grand celebration from the Continental Bridge Plaza. The free, family-friendly event will include contests, mariachis, ballet folklórico and participation from Noticiero Univision Edición Digital co-anchor Borja Voces. In addition, the city of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings will be a part of the special evening, meeting with families and sitting down for a live interview to honor the station’s strong legacy.

DALLAS –7 DE AGOSTO DE 2018– KUVN Univision 23 de Univision Dallas, el canal de televisión en español más antiguo y más grande del norte de Texas, celebra 30 años de informar, entretener y empoderar a la comunidad latina de Dallas-Fort Worth este 8 de agosto, con el regreso de una de sus más populares campañas: Desde su comunidad
KUVN Univision 23 inició las celebraciones el 18 de julio y para conmemorar este importante evento junto con la comunidad, invitó a la audiencia a las grabaciones en vivo de la trasmisión de Noticias 23 a las 5 p.m. y a eventos para conocer a las personalidades de Univision, todos los miércoles hasta el 8 de agosto en diferentes parques de la zona de Dallas-Fort Worth.
El 8 de agosto, día del 30o aniversario, KUVN Univision 23 será el anfitrión de una grandiosa celebración en el Continental Bridge Plaza. Este evento familiar es gratuito e incluirá mariachis, bailes folclóricos y la participación del copresentador del Noticiero Univision Edición Digital Borja Voces. También formará parte de esta noche especial el alcalde de Dallas Mike Rawlings, quién se reunirá con familias y realizará una entrevista especial en vivo, en homenaje al sólido legado del canal.
