Univision has not left the table and is prepared to continue negotiating when DISH shows that it is serious about paying fair value for our services. DISH insists on paying Univision only a fraction of what it pays our English-language peers. DISH’s latest offer to UCI is an insult to our viewers, who depend on us for vital news and information that we provide like no other. DISH is just going through the motions and has provided hollow offers that hardly represent true negotiations.
We remain ready and willing to negotiate with DISH, but we will not roll over and let them continue to devalue the programming our already-underrepresented community relies on. Given the fact that our networks perform extremely well on their service, the question becomes: why doesn’t DISH treat Univision fairly?

Univision no ha abandonado las negociaciones y está preparada a continuarlas cuando DISH demuestre que se propone pagar el justo valor por nuestros servicios. DISH insiste en pagar a Univision solo una fracción de lo que les paga a nuestros homólogos en inglés. La más reciente oferta por DISH a UCI es un insulto a nuestros televidentes, quienes dependen de nosotros para las noticias e información vitales que ofrecemos como ningún otro. DISH simplemente está haciendo lo mínimo indispensable en este proceso y ha hecho ofertas sin sustancia que a duras penas representan verdaderas negociaciones.
Seguimos dispuestos a negociar con DISH, pero no nos rendiremos ni dejaremos que continúen devaluando la programación de la que depende nuestra comunidad, que ya está insuficientemente representada. Dado el hecho que nuestras cadenas tienen un desempeño extremadamente bueno en su servicio, la cuestión es: ¿por qué DISH trata a Univision injustamente?
