UniMás Delivered Double-Digit Audience Growth in Primetime Week-To-Week and Versus Comparable Week in 2017

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 11, 2018 to June 17, 2018

On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed Telemundo by double-digit margins for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% adv.; 923,000 vs. 722,000), Adults 18-49 (+28% adv.; 437,000 vs. 342,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.; 204,000 vs. 149,000) with a line-up that included “Cine de las Estrellas Sun: No Se Aceptan Devoluciones” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sun 2: Snitch.” UniMás also increased its Sunday 7pm to 11pm average by double to triple-digit margins week-to-week and versus comparable night in 2017:

  • Versus prior Sun: Total Viewers 2+ (+66%), Adults 18-49 (+54%) and Adults 18-34 (+74%).
  • Versus same night in 2017: Total Viewers 2+ (+89%), Adults 18-49 (+77%) and Adults 18-34 (+132%).

With double-digit audience growth over prior week performance, UniMás averaged 610,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), 293,000 Adults 18-49 (+19%) and 127,000 Adults 18-34 (+19%) in primetime last week. Additionally, UniMás grew its primetime average by strong margins versus comparable week in 2017 among Total Viewers 2+ (+29%), Adults 18-49 (+38%) and Adults 18-34 (+57%).

Airing Tuesday through Friday from 8:00pm to 10:00pm this past week, UniMás adventure reality competition “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema…”

  • Averaged 641,000 Total Viewers 2+, 343,000 Adults 18-49 and 154,000 Adults 18-34, marking its highest-rated weekly performance since premiering on March 19, 2018.
  • Delivered double-digit audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+20%), Adults 18-49 (+27%) and Adults 18-34 (+40%) over prior week performance.
  • Attracted nearly two times more Adults 18-49 (+91%), two times more Adults 18-34 (+120%) as well as +57% more Total Viewers 2+ to the network’s time-period versus comparable nights in 2017.

“Republica Mundialista” launched last week in the weeknight 10:00pm to 12:00am block and averaged 259,000 Total Viewers 2+, 144,000 Adults 18-49 and 47,000 Adults 18-34 in its first two nights (Thursday and Friday). Versus comparable nights in 2017, the sports newscast drew more Adults 18-49 (+30%), Adults 18-34 (+24%) and Total Viewers 2+ (+5%) to the network’s time-period.

The one-hour finale of epic series “Sansón y Dalila” on June 13, 2018 from 10:00pm to 11:00pm:

  • Averaged 774,000 Total Viewers 2+, 299,000 Adults 18-49 and 129,000 Adults 18-34.
  • Reported double-digit audience growth versus its prior Wednesday performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+22%), Adults 18-49 (+23%) and Adults 18-34 (+16%).
  • Attracted two times more Total Viewers 2+ (+123%), Adults 18-34 (+111%) and +74% more Adults 18-49 to the network’s time-period versus comparable night in 2017.
  • In its full-run, “Sansón y Dalila” delivered an average of 745,000 Total Viewers 2+, 262,000 Adults 18-49 and 118,000 Adults 18-34.

For the sixth consecutive week, UniMás out-delivered the CW network during the weeknight 9pm hour among both Adults 18-49 (+24% adv.; 321,000 vs. 259,000) and Adults 18-34 (+41% adv.; 137,000 vs. 97,000). In fact, UniMás also averaged more Adults 18-49 (+8% adv.; 302,000 vs. 280,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.; 134,000 vs. 98,000) than CW’s Monday to Friday primetime average from 8:00pm-10:00pm last week.

UniMás attracted nearly two to three times more Total Viewers 2+ (+98% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+187% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+234% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.

In the current 2017/2018 Season, UniMás continues to average more Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 718,000) in primetime versus comparable weeks in the 2016/2017 season.
