During Last Week of the Season, UniMás Reported Year-Over-Year Audience Gains with Total Viewers 2+ & Adults 18-34

During the last week of the 2016/17 season, UniMás averaged 607,000 Total Viewers 2+, 255,000 Adults 18-49 and 99,000 Adults 18-34 during prime.

  • Year-over-year, UniMás reported audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%) and Adults 18-34 (+2%).

During the M-F 10pm hour, “Rosario Tijeras” registered its highest-rated weekly performance for the third consecutive week with 563,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 236,000 Adults 18-49 and averaged 97,000 Adults 18-34. Week-to-week, the series increased its audience by +1% among both Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.

On Sunday night, UniMás aired various specials which grew the 7-11pm time-period versus the corresponding Sunday in 2016 by +11% among Total Viewers 2+ (575,000) and by +5% among Adults 18-49 (288,000), and averaged 104,000 Adults 18-34.

  • UniMás kicked off the night with the special airing of the first episode of “El Chapo” season 2, delivering 485,000 Viewers 2+, 261,000 Adults 18-49 and 101,000 Adults 18-34.
  • Following at 8pm, “Rosario Tijeras’” two-hour finale episode averaged 688,000 Total Viewers 2+, 331,000 Adults 18-49 and 117,000 Adults 18-34. The finale marked as the highest-rated episode of the series on the UniMás network among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.
    • The finale delivered significant audience gains to the Sunday 8-10pm time-period versus the corresponding night in 2016 among Total Viewers 2+ (+22%) and Adults 18-49 (+11%).
  • Ending the night at 10pm, was the one-hour special simulcast of Univision’s second episode of “El Chapo” season 2 which averaged 443,000 Total Viewers 2+, 230,000 Adults 18-49 and 82,000 Adults 18-34, increasing the network’s audience by +70% among Viewers 2+ and by +45% among Adults 18-49 versus a year ago.

UniMás averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+76% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+81% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+71% adv.).
