Trisha Pray is executive vice president of Network Sales for Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. In this role she oversees all advertising sales and marketing for Univision Network, UniMás, Galavisión, tlnovelas, Foro TV and a suite of growing cable networks, which include De Película, De Película Clásico, Bandamax, Ritmoson, Telehit and Distrito Comedia. Pray is also a founding member of the steering committee for Univision’s Women’s Leadership Council, an employee resource group organized to help advance women at Univision and prepare the next generation of women leaders.
Over the past 25 years, Pray has built a successful career and impeccable reputation based on proven success in the national advertising marketplace. She is well-known and respected by clients, partners and peers in the industry for her customer-focused style and innovative approach to delivering successful marketing solutions. Pray has been a pivotal member of the Univision Ad Sales team for more than 20 years helping the Company elevate its efforts and build a best-in-class sales force. Under her leadership, Univision is known in the industry as a solutions oriented partner committed to working closely with marketers to create effective cross-platform opportunities that connect with the country’s fastest growing consumer base.
Pray joined the Univision family in 1989 as an account executive in Chicago where she successfully represented the Univision Network, as well as the owned and operated and affiliated Univision stations. In this role she established deep relations with Midwest-based clients and advertising agencies, including Tapestry, General Motors, McDonald’s and P&G, among many others. In 1993, she was promoted to vice president of Network Sales, to lead sales, marketing and new business development efforts in the Midwest region for Univision Networks. In December 2007, she was promoted to SVP and moved to New York
Pray began her career at Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago where she held various roles as a media buyer/planner. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts in business and economics.
