Carlos Ferreiro is Chief Financial Officer TelevisaUnivision Inc., the world’s leading Spanish-language content and media company. In his role, Ferreiro oversees TelevisaUnivision’s global finance organization and is responsible for corporate finance, treasury, risk management, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, audit, tax, procurement, real estate and corporate business development. He also leads the company’s complex engagements with the banking, institutional investors, and analyst communities.

A veteran finance executive with extensive experience managing publicly traded companies, Rivas comes to Univision with in-depth knowledge leading and executing M&A transactions, IPOs, debt offerings, cost reduction analysis, control processes, corporate finance, treasury and risk management, as well as accounting, financial and tax planning.

Prior to joining TelevisaUnivision in 2021, Ferreiro was the Chief Financial Officer of Televisa, where he was responsible for the corporate finance of the various business segments and strategically led the merger of Univision and Televisa’s content business. Prior to Televisa, Ferreiro held leadership positions at Izzi and lusacell, where in addition to being responsible for all aspects of the corporate finance and planning he also led important M&A, consolidations and integrations at these companies in Mexico.

Ferreiro earned a BA degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
