By UCI PR Team
Mar 28, 2016

NEW YORK – MARCH 28, 2016 – Univision Communications Inc. opposes the recent legislative actions in North Carolina and Georgia, which are divisive and discriminatory against LGBT employees, audiences, families and friends. As a company whose core mission is to inform, entertain and empower diverse and multicultural communities, Univision strongly condemns laws that enable and promote discrimination of any kind. We commend Georgia Governor Nathan Deal for his leadership today in vetoing House Bill 757. We encourage leaders in North Carolina and any other states contemplating discriminatory laws to reject such intolerance and instead to embrace inclusion and acceptance.
