Mentir para Vivir (Lie in order to Live) is the story of Oriana (Mayrín Villanueva), a dedicated mother who, when she finds out her husband is engaged in illegal activities, flees with her young daughter to a small Mexican resort hotel. One afternoon, a gunshot is heard and Oriana runs to find one of the hotel guests, Don Gabriel Sanchez (Alejandro Tommasi), shot dead and her daughter, Alina, standing right next to him. In order to protect herself and her daughter, Oriana is forced to flee once more and assume a false identity. And in doing so, finds not only her true love, but her true inner strength, as well.

Mentir para Vivir es la historia de Oriana (Mayrín Villanueva), una madre abnegada que, al descubrir que su esposo está involucrado en actividades ilegales, huye con su hija a un pequeño hotel mexicano. Una tarde, Oriana escucha un disparo y encuentra a uno de los huéspedes del hotel, Don Gabriel Sánchez (Alejandro Tommasi), muerto en el suelo y a su hija, Alina, al lado del cuerpo. Para protegerse a sí misma y a su hija, Oriana se ve obligada a escapar una vez más y asumir una identidad falsa. Y al hacerlo, no sólo encuentra al amor de su vida, sino que también descubre su fortaleza interior.
