Univision Stations Finished the May Sweep as No. 1 in Early News in Top Markets Among Adults 18-49, Regardless of Language: Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, and Sacramento

NEW YORK – MAY 25, 2018 – Univision stations finished the May Sweep as the leader in Early News across six key markets—Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, and Sacramento—regardless of language, among Adults 18-49. Additionally, Univision stations in Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, and Sacramento were No. 1 in Early News among Adults 18-34.

Additionally, during the May 2018 sweep, Univision stations delivered the No. 1 late local news among Adults 18-49 in Dallas and Adults 18-34 in Dallas and Chicago.

Early Local News

Univision stations delivered the No. 2 early local news among:

  • Total Viewers 2+ in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Sacramento.
  • Adults 18-49 in Miami, Chicago and Phoenix.
  • Adults 18-34 in Miami.

Late Local News

Univision stations delivered the No. 2 late local news among:

  • Total Viewers 2+ in Miami.
  • Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago.
  • Adults 18-34 in Los Angeles and Houston.

Midday Local News

During the May 2018 sweep, Univision stations delivered the No. 1 midday local news among:

  • Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles and Houston.
  • Adults 18-34 in Houston and Dallas.

In addition, Univision stations delivered the No. 2 midday local news among:

  • Adults 18-49 in Miami and Sacramento.

Total Day

During the May 2018 sweep, Univision was the No. 1 broadcast station in total day viewing (Monday-Sunday 6 a.m.-2 a.m.) among:

  • Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, Houston and Dallas
  • Adults 18-34 in Houston and Dallas

In addition, Univision was the No. 2 broadcast station in total day viewing among:

  • Adults 18-49 in Miami and Phoenix
  • Adults 18-34 in Los Angeles, Chicago and Sacramento

Primetime

During the May 2018 sweep, Univision was the No. 1 broadcast station in primetime viewing among:

  • Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in Los Angeles and Dallas.

In addition, Univision was the No. 2 broadcast station in primetime viewing among:

  • Adults 18-49 in Miami and Houston.
  • Adults 18-34 in Houston and Chicago.
