“Premios Univision Deportes” Returns to Celebrate the Best of Sports in 2017 with Hosts Julián Gil, Ninel Conde and Miguel “El Piojo” Herrera
Top Names in Sports, Entertainment and Music Come Together to Honor this Year’s Top Achievements
The Star-Studded Gala will Air Sunday, December 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT on the Univision Network and UDN
MIAMI, FL – NOVEMBER 30, 2017 – “Premios Univision Deportes,” the premiere sports award show for U.S. Hispanics, will return this December to celebrate the year’s Best in Sports. Hosted by Julián Gil, Ninel Conde and Miguel “El Piojo” Herrera, the gala event will recognize the top sports performers and legends who have achieved greatness on and off the playing field.
The most eagerly awaited night in sports among U.S. Hispanics will begin with a special red-carpet arrivals event at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT, followed by the main event at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT on Sunday, December 17, on the Univision Network with simulcast on UDN (Univision Deportes Network). Fans can also access exclusive coverage of the awards on the Univision Deportes app, and Univisiondeportes.com throughout the night as well as streamed on Univision Now, the on demand and live video service.
Since its inception in 2014, “Premios Univision Deportes” has grown to be the most-viewed celebration of sports by U.S. Hispanics. The two-hour live event will feature some of the biggest names in Latin music and honor elite athletes in the most popular sports, as well as those who use sports as a vehicle for social change. A full list of categories and nominees will be announced at a later date.

Presentado por Julián Gil, Ninel Conde y Miguel “El Piojo” Herrera, el evento otorgará reconocimiento a destacados y legendarios personajes del deporte, que han alcanzado gran importancia en la cancha y en otros ámbitos.
La gala deportiva comenzará con una alfombra roja a las 7 p.m. Este/ 6 p.m. Centro, seguido por el evento principal a las 8 p.m. Este/ 7 p.m. Centro, el domingo, 17 de diciembre por la Cadena Univision y con trasmisión simultánea por UDN (Univision Deportes Network).
