Sunday Night Premieres of “Mira Quién Baila” and “El Chapo” Make Univision the Top Spanish-Language Choice with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Univision’s 8pm series, “Enamorándome de Ramón” (Falling in Love with Ramón) helped Univision rank as the No. 4 network overall among Adults 18-34, beating FOX in the weekday 8pm hour.  “Enamorándome de Ramón” also secured Univision as the No. 1 Spanish-language network during the weekday 8pm hour among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. “Enamorándome de Ramón” attracted 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 667,000 Adults 18-49 and 349,000 Adults 18-34.

In its fourth week on air, Univision’s 9pm series “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” (My Husband Has Family) helped Univision maintain its advantage over FOX during the Monday- Friday 9pm hour among Adults 18-34. “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 722,000 Adults 18-49 and 339,000 Adults 18-34.

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-Language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights this past week among Adults 18-34.

  • On Monday night, Univision outperformed CBS (+18%) by double-digit margins with Adults 18-34. This marks the seventeenth consecutive Monday that Univision out-delivered CBS among Adults 18-34.
  • Univision held a substantial double-digit advantage over ABC (+26%), FOX (+45%)and CBS (+35%) on Tuesday night, ranking No. 3 with Adults 18-34.
  • On Wednesday night Univision beat ABC by +5% ABC among Adults 18-34.
  • On Thursday night Univision rose to the No. 4 network among Adults 18-34, beating FOX (+23%) and NBC (+30%) with Adults 18-34.
  • Airing its regularly scheduled lineup, Univision maintained its No. 4 network rank on Friday night among Adults 18-34, beating FOX and ABC. Univision also outperformed FOX for the night with Adults 18-49.
    • Univision averaged more than half the Adults 18-34 of FOX (+61%) and outperformed ABC by +7%.
    • With Adults 18-49, Univision beat FOX by +7%.
  • Airing back-to-back premieres of its new Sunday prime lineup, Univision ranked as the No. 4 network among Adults 18-34.
    • Univision was the No. 1 Spanish-language network for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
    • At 8pm the two-hour premiere of Univision’s celebrity dance competition, “Mira Quién Baila,” (Look Who’s Dancing) reached 4.7 million Total Viewers 2+ and averaged 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 798,000 Adults 18-49 and 307,000 Adults 18-34. In fact, “Mira Quién Baila,” ranked among the top 10 programs for the night with Adults 18-49 (#10) and Adults 18-34 (#9).
    • Following at 10pm, the premiere of season 2 of “El Chapo” 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 714,000 Adults 18-49 and 323,000 Adults 18-34.  Season 2 of “El Chapo” ranked among the top 10 programs for the night with Adults 18-34 (#8).
