UniMás Reported Week-to-Week Audience Gains, While Attracting More Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 & Young Adults 18-34 Than the Combined Audience of Estrella TV and Azteca

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 28, 2017 to September 3, 2017

 

  • Week-to-week, UniMás enjoyed audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 448,000), Adults 18-49 (+5% to 214,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+6% to 88,000) during broadcast prime.

 

  • Driven mostly by 9pm drama series “Totalmente Diva,” UniMás’ weekday prime (M-F 8-11pm) grew from the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 398,000), Adults 18-49 (+11% to 176,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+11% to 70,000).

 

  • “Totalmente Diva” (Totally Diva) original airings at 9pm, attracted more viewers than in the week prior among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 463,000), Adults 18-49 (+14% to 209,000) and Adults 18-34 (+10% to 79,000).
  • On Sunday, UniMás aired back-to-back movies, “Cineplex: Gladiator” (6-9pm) and “Cine de las Estrellas: Taken 2” (9-11pm), which led the network to out-deliver Telemundo for the entire night among Adults 18-49 (+37% adv.; 374,000 vs. 273,000) and Adults 18-34 (+63% adv.; 163,000 vs. 100,000), while it averaged 694,000 Viewers 2+.

 

  • The network reported +4% more Adults 18-34 over the prior Sunday, and year-over-year, it attracted +12% more Total Viewers 2+, +43% more Adults 18-49 and +54% more young Adults 18-34.

 

  • UniMás averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+35% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+69% adv.) and young Adults 18-34 (+73% adv.).
