UniMás Delivers Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth For Third Straight Week Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 20, 2020 to July 26, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás out-delivered ABC (+195% adv.), CBS (+70% adv.), NBC (+24% adv.) and Telemundo (+2% adv.) for the third consecutive Saturday night among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: 3 Days to Kill” and “CineNight: Taken 2”). This marked the eleventh consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered CBS among Adults 18-34. UniMás also outperformed ABC (+91% adv.) and Telemundo (+60% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 for the entire night and out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+81% adv.). This marked the second consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 700,000). The line-up also increased the time slot by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+97% to 700,000), Adults 18-49 (+86% to 285,000) and Adults 18-34 (+88% to 107,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás finished ahead of NBC (+17% adv.), FOX (+6% adv.), The CW (+437% adv.) and Telemundo (+11% adv.) for the third consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“CineMás: Lucy” and “CineMás: Transporter 3”). This marked the fourth straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered FOX and Telemundo among Adults 18-34. UniMás also outperformed The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+52% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (184% adv.), marking the 10th consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Total Viewers 2+ and the 33rd straight Sunday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Compared to the same day last year, the movie line-up delivered audience growth to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+24% to 633,000) and Adults 18-49 (+6% to 256,000).
  • UniMás reported primetime audience growth year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+2% to 177,000) and Adults 18-34 (+12% to 73,000), marking the third consecutive week of audience growth among the Adult 18-34 demographic. UniMás also outperformed The CW by double-to-triple digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+30% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+115% adv.), marking the 27th and 32nd consecutive week that it has topped The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 286,000), Adults 18-49 (+20% to 158,000) and Adults 18-34 (+31% to 76,000), marking its highest-rated weekly performance among Adults 18-34. The reality series also delivered audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+19%) and Adults 18-34 (+36%). The reality competition series outperformed ABC (+3% adv) in the 8 p.m. hour and FOX (+16% adv.) in the 9 p.m. hour on Tuesday night among Adults 18-34. “Guerreros” also positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+7% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+105% adv.).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+26% to 135,000) and Adults 18-34 (+92% to 50,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. reality series, “Vas Con Todo” increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 121,000) and Adults 18-49 (+17% to 56,000). The reality series also delivered audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 121,000), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 56,000) and Adults 18-34 (+31% to 17,000).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+48% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+101% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+92% adv.) for the entire week.
