NEW YORK – MAY 6, 2015 – Univision Deportes, the sports division of Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, was honored on Wednesday by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) with two Sports Emmy® Awards for the first time in the company’s history. Univision Deportes won in the category of Outstanding Live Sports Coverage in Spanish for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and in the category of Outstanding Studio Show in Spanish for the program “Futbol Central.”

Univision Deportes was recognized in the following categories:
- Outstanding Live Sports Coverage in Spanish: 2014 FIFA World Cup

The 36th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards were presented at a special ceremony on Wednesday at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.

NUEVA YORK – 6 DE MAYO DE 2015 – Univision Deportes, la división deportiva de Univision Communications Inc., la principal empresa de medios de comunicación al servicio de los hispanos en los Estados Unidos, fue galardonada el miércoles por la National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) con dos premios Emmy® de deportes por primera vez en la historia de la empresa. Univision Deportes ganó bajo la categoría Cobertura Sobresaliente de Deportes en Vivo en Español por la Copa Mundial 2014 de la FIFA y bajo la categoría Programa de Estudio Sobresaliente en Español por “Fútbol Central”.
