Hispanics continue to be a driving segment in the Restaurant industry. Many operators have been organizing their companies and marketing activities accordingly to meet the needs of these 57 million bicultural consumers.  Which operators are best addressing this consumers’ needs? The Hispanic Trailblazers are.

In 2015, Univision Communications and The NPD Group launched the Trailblazers program to honor chains that are committed to the Hispanic consumer. The honorees were unveiled at the annual Restaurant Leadership Conference (RLC), where we had the honor of sharing the stage with our Newcomer of the Year, Papa John’s CEO and Founder John Schnatter, who discussed how the company increased sales by building connections with Hispanics. In year two, we’re welcoming six additional brands into the Trailblazers family. Whether it’s because of menu innovations, targeted messaging, community involvement, a focus on youth and family or more, these Restaurant Trailblazers are growing their businesses with Hispanics and paving a path that smart brands will follow.
