Copa America Centenario
A soccer event 100 years in the making. It’s in the U.S., and on Univision Deporte
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Copa America – normally just a South American competition – two major soccer confederations have joined together. It’s like having the CONCACAF Gold Cup merge with the CONMEBOL Copa America into one super tournament.
Centenario features 16 national teams, all from the Americas, most from Latin America. With USA, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and more, the projected per game audience on Univision will be larger than the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
TIME: Primetime (weekdays) and Weekends
