Jessica Rodriguez is executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), the leading media company serving Hispanic America.

In this role, Rodriguez oversees all of UCI’s marketing, art & design functions, including the Univision Agency, which creates all promotional, creative and media inventory valued at more than $500 million across the UCI’s broadcast, cable, radio and digital properties. She also oversees all of Corporate Research and Strategy & Insights and oversees Program Scheduling across all networks. In 2015, Rodriguez launched Univision Network’s first-ever brand campaign, “Todo Es Posible” (Everything is Possible), a comprehensive, multi-platform initiative leveraging the core values of Hispanic America and the Univision brand. Rodriguez also launched “United We Stand, Together We Grow”, the Company’s latest marketing campaign serving to position the Company’s growing, influential multicultural audience and “Tu Gente. Tu Voz.”, a groundbreaking, reimagined local news branding campaign that highlights the deep connection between Univision’s local news teams and the communities they serve.

Rodriguez previously served as executive vice president of Program Scheduling and Promotions where she was responsible for strategically helping to maximize UCI’s programming decision-making process across all UCI networks and platforms. Previously, she served as senior vice president of Univision Cable Networks, and prior to that, vice president, special assistant to the president of Univision Networks. She began her career at UCI as an intern in LA and later moved to Puerto Rico where she helped launch and lead the station to a leading position in the market.  During her time there, she served in multiple roles, most recently as VP/Station Manager. Earlier in her career, Rodriguez served as an analyst and then an associate for the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City, and later as an analyst for the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.

Rodriguez has been named as one of People en Español’s 25 Most Powerful Women, Cablefax’s Most Influential Minorities in Cable, and a Wonder Woman by Multichannel News. Rodriguez was also included in the 2014 Power Women list by MOVES Magazine and the 2015 List of Vital Leaders in Tech, Media and Marketing by Adweek. She was a 2015 recipient of NAMIC’s Next Generation Leader Award and the New York City’s YMCA Outstanding Leadership Award. Rodriguez is also a board member for the Ballet Hispanico.

She received an MBA from Stanford University School of Business and a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Fordham University.
