Keith Turner is president of Advertising Sales and Marketing at Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), the leading media company serving Hispanic America. In this role, he oversees advertising sales and marketing for UCI’s suite of media offerings, including Univision Network, UniMás Network, cable networks: Galavisión, Univision tlnovelas, UDN (Univision Deportes Network), FOROtv as well as Univision Local Media, Digital, and El Rey Network, a English-language network founded by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez.
Turner brings more than 30 years of demonstrated success in the media industry. He most recently served as the senior vice president of Media Sales and Sponsorship at the NFL. In that role, Turner oversaw the NFL sponsorship business as well as advertising sales for all NFL media platforms, which include NFL Network, NFL.com and NFL Mobile. While there, he spearheaded the return of Anheuser-Busch as an NFL partner after an eight-year hiatus, and struck new partnerships with Marriott, Bose, USAA, and XBOX.
Prior to joining the NFL, Turner spent more than 20 years at NBC where he held various roles, including president of Sales and Marketing, senior vice president of Olympic and Sports Sales, vice president of Olympic and Sports Sales, and vice president of Sport Sales, among other positions. Before NBC, he was an account executive for CBS. Turner began his career at Grey Advertising.
Turner, a Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame inductee, has received many recognitions throughout his career, including a feature in Cablefax’s power player list “The Cablefax 100” in 2017 and 2016; he has appeared in Adweek’s list of most indispensable executives in Marketing, Media & Tech “The Adweek 50” in 2016 and 2015, was honored by The National Kidney Foundation with the 2014 Visionary Leader Award, and recognized by Broadcasting & Cable in its “13 Names to Know” list in 2013.
Turner is a graduate of C.W. Post where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing.
