“Vidas Cruzadas” (Crossed Lives) Delivers Record-Breaking Video Streams on Univision.com
New York, NY -- Univision Interactive Media, Inc., the digital division of Univision Communications Inc., the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, today announced that “Vidas Cruzadas” (Crossed Lives) has generated record-breaking viewership on Univision.com.
Up to 48,000 daily viewers across the U.S. streamed this exciting webnovela, for a total of more than two million U.S. video streams since its launch. On average, viewers watched 70 percent of every episode. Since August 1st, the “Vidas Cruzadas” microsite had one million visits with seven million pages generated in the U.S. In addition, there have been more than 12,000 messages on “Vidas Cruzadas” videos and forums, making this one of the most active sections on our site.

During its one month run on Univision.com, the webnovela provided a truly interactive experience with a new full page video player, English subtitling and live commentary for each episode. The episodes are still available on Univision.com and fans continue to view “Vidas Cruzadas” in its entirety.
