Univision 41 to Budding Music Stars: Send us your Audition Reel for a Shot at Stardom

New York, NY -- Univision 41 (WXTV), New York’s premier Spanish-language TV station, is offering budding musical artists a shot at stardom – specifically a shot at being one of the  “Estrellas de Al Despertar” (Stars of the Wakeup News).

Each weekday through December 3, “Noticias Univision 41 Al Despertar” (Univision 41 News at Dawn), seen from 5 am to 7 am with anchors Antonio Martinez and Birmania Rios, will feature a live broadcast by a singer, band, or other musical act who submits its audition reel to the station at the address broadcast on the air.  Talent will also be featured on the website,  http://pull.xmr3.com/p/155-48E7/37597502/http-www.univision.com-.html, keyword:  Nueva York.

Each performance broadcast on “Noticias Univision 41 Al Despertar” will be put to the viewers, who will select the “Estrellas de la Semana” (Stars of the Week) in an online vote at the end of each week.  The “Estrellas de la Semana” (Stars of the Week) will be put to a second round of online voting by the audience.  The most popular act, to be announced during the week of December 6, will be featured locally on Univision 41.
