Univision Names David Murray Senior Vice President, Business Development Group for Network Sales
Miami, FL -- Univision Communications (NYSE: UVN), the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, today announced the appointment of David Murray to the position of Senior Vice President, Business Development Group for Univision Network Sales. Murray, who has been with Univision Network in the Business Development group for over three years, will be responsible for bringing new advertisers to Univision. Based in New York, Murray will report to Bennett Fogel, Executive Vice President of Business Development at the Univision Networks.

Murray started his successful career in local television sales at WPXT in Portland, Maine, and then went on to work for station representative, Blair Television, in Boston and New York. His extensive experience includes working for ABC Spot Sales and in station sales management with WDIV (Post-Newsweek) in Detroit where he held the position of National and Local Sales Manager. WDIV’s sister station then added Murray to its team as General Sales Manager in Hartford, Connecticut. Prior to joining Univision, Murray served as the Director of Sales for Tribune-owned WTIC in Hartford. Murray graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.
