Los Angeles, CA -- In 2008 the # 1 station in the country for Adults 18-49 and regardless of language, was KMEX Univision 34 in Los Angeles. For 2008, the leading Spanish-language television station in the country, led all competing stations among Adults 18-49 average viewer impressions in Nielsen Station Index from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008.
Univision’s KMEX led all competing stations regardless of language during early local evening news (Mon-Fri 6 p.m.-6:30pm), late local news (Mon-Fri 11-11:30pm), primetime and total day. KMEX’s victory included out-delivering New York’s leading stations WABC-TV during local news and total day and WNYW-TV during primetime.
