Atlanta, GA -- Univision 34 is proud to announce the launch of its first community outreach program “ Nuestra Vida”.  Focusing on health and safety education, “Nuestra Vida” is a year-long program dedicated to the Atlanta Hispanic community.

Univision 34 will partner the “Latin American Association” and “Dia de la Mujer Latina” in order to develop the educational program.  “Nuestra Vida” will have two events throughout 2004. The first event, “Nuestra Seguridad” (“Our Safety”), will take place on April 24, 2004, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 pm at the Latin American Association Building, located at 2750 Buford Highway. The event will provide attendees information about home and work safety.  The second event, “Nuestra Salud” (“Our Health”), will focus on health issues that affect the Atlanta’s Latino/Hispanic community.  Attendees will learn about the importance of preventive medicine, such as vaccination for children, oral hygiene, and the importance of good nutritional habits. “Nuestra Salud” will take place on August 7, 2004, at the Latin American Association building, located at 2750 Buford Highway.  Both events are sure to be a fun and educational experience for the community.
