UniMás Grew its Audience Season-over-Season Among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%)

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 7, 2014 to April 13, 2014

  • For the seventh consecutive week, UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network, beating Telemundo during the Monday-Friday 10 p.m. hour. UniMás held an advantage over Telemundo for the 10 p.m. hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+22%), Adults 18-49 (+20%), and Adults 18-34 (+26%) viewers.
  • For the second consecutive Friday night, UniMás clinched the #2 Spanish-language network rank, out-delivering Telemundo among Adults 18-34 (+13%).

–  When airing head-to-head at 10 p.m., “La Viuda Negra” attracted +49% more Adults 18-49 and +55% more Adults 18-34 viewers than Telemundo’s “Camelia la Texana.” In fact, “La Viuda Negra” ranked among the top 20 programs for the night with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

  • In the current 2013/2014 season, UniMás reported primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season.
  • For the entire week, “La Viuda Negra” delivered more Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34 than Telemundo’s entire Monday-Friday primetime lineup.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás reported significant week-over-week audience growth with Total Viewers 2+ (+28%), Adults 18-49 (+56%), and Adults 18-34 (+25%).

–  UniMás kicked off the night with live coverage of the Liga Mexicana soccer match between Guadalajara and Monarcas.  The live match attracted 974,000 Total Viewers 2+, 590,000 Adults 18-49, and 263,000 Adults 18-34.

  • Versus the same week a year ago (04/08/13-04/14/13), UniMás reported double-digit percentage growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+48%), Adults 18-49 (+33%), and Adults 18-34 (+29%) viewers.
  • UniMás, on average, more than doubled the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+103%), Adults 18-49 (+132%) and Adults 18-34 (+156%).
