Scott Thompson to Lead New Regional Office
New York, NY — Univision Online, Inc., the interactive subsidiary of Univision Communications Inc., the nationís leading Spanish-language media company, announced the opening of a new office in San Francisco, one of the top online advertising markets in the country. Scott Thompson, Univision Onlineís newly appointed director of the northwest region, will lead the office. Thompson will report to Charlie Echeverry, senior vice president of digital sales.

With more than 10 years of digital sales experience, Thompson most recently served as Disney Onlineís northwest senior account manager, where he effectively established strategic partnerships with major brands in a variety of business categories. Prior to that, he held positions with Jupitermedia Corporation, Winstar Interactive Media, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc, and Nabisco. Thompson sits on the board of The Bay Area Interactive Group (BIG). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
