Univision Radio’s KLVE 107.5 FM Receives Marconi Award for Spanish-Language Station of the Year

Los Angeles, CA — Univision Radio, the leading Spanish-language radio group in the U.S., is proud to announce that its KLVE 107.5 radio station in Los Angeles has been presented with a Marconi Radio Award for Spanish-Language Station of the Year by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).

Univision Radio President and Chief Operating Officer Gary Stone accepted the crystal obelisk award at a ceremony last week and said, ìKLVE is among the top rated radio stations in Los Angeles, one of the most competitive radio markets in the nation. This heritage radio station has continued to improve itself to better serve L.A.ís Spanish-speaking community. We are very proud of our on-air talent, programmers and sales & management team.î

KLVE 107.5 FM, with its Spanish Adult Contemporary format, is an institution and a leader in Los Angeles radio. Since its debut in 1978, the station has received three Marconi Awards; 1997, 2005 and 2007. The Marconi Radio Awards are presented annually by the NAB to the top commercial radio stations and talent. The Marconi Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the radio industry.

The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade association that advocates on behalf of more than 8,300 free, local radio and television stations and also broadcast networks before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the Courts.
